Designer/Runner/Yogi/Volunteer Track Club Coach/Dog Rescuer/Former Fat Girl.
Tina Tait is known for her visionary graphic design, and her ability to help others navigate life’s often uneven terrain and follow the path to a healthy, active lifestyle. After undergoing Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery in January 2013, Tina lost 130 lbs in 11 months, and found her calling in the Atlanta running community. Tina trained her way from 5k to 10k to 9 half marathons and now 2 full marathons (including the New York Marathon!). After losing her husband, Alistair, to a sudden heart attack in July 2016, Tina channeled her grief into coaching and inspiring others to keep running. Tina dedicates every run to Alistair and wears a necklace with his fingerprint, keeping him close to her heart with every step. She has maintained her 130 pound weight loss since 2013 and it has given her a whole new life!
